Cone ≠ Ice Cream

The word “cone” doesn’t have to make you think only of ice cream. In French, the cone (le cornet) is closer to a tuile — literally a roof tile — which is exactly the shape these thin biscuits often take.

Remember the pistachios I chopped long ago, shown in a previous post? It was time to use them again. And since I’m on a strawberry kick lately, I paired the tuiles with fresh strawberries. Expect more strawberry recipes soon — I’m enjoying them this season.
